Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich BWL - Wirtschaftspolitik, Note: 1,3, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Veranstaltung: Politische Ökonomie Staatlicher Reformtätigkeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: 1978 begann China mit einem langanhaltenden Reformprozess, bei dem das planwirtschaftliche Produktionssystem langsam auf ein marktwirtschaftliches System umgestellt wurde. Die einzelnen Reformschritte wurden nacheinander und schrittweise durchgeführt und können damit sowohl in zeitlicher als auch räumlicher Hinsicht als graduell bezeichnet werden. In vielen anderen postkommunistischen Ländern und verschiedenen Entwicklungsländern mit ähnlich gravierenden Reformschritten konnte man dagegen eine Bündelung verschiedenster Reformschritte beobachten, was als Big-Bang-Strategie bezeichnet werden kann. Die Imple-mentierung von Big-Bang-Strategien führte in vielen Ländern zu unmittelbaren ökonomischen und sozialen Problemen, was die Frage nahe legt, ob graduelle Reformen grundsätzlich besser sind.
