Redeeming All Things
Description
Is caring about climate justice and investing in creation care part of our mandate as Christians today? Is it core to the gospel or is it merely a trending distraction? If you have heard anyone argue the latter, or have asked yourself this question - this M.Series booklet, Redeeming All Things, will help answer that in 50 short pages.
Creation care is integral to the gospel, as we follow Jesus who is Creator and Redeemer. Creation care is integral to mission as we have been designed to image-bear our God and demonstrate the gospel in word and deed. Creation care is crucial in these times if we are to love our neighbour well as the fall-out of climate injustice most often hits the vulnerable much harder. The perpetuation of injustice is linked to how we do, or don't, care for creation and all who live in it.
In this booklet, Rachel Mander explains very clearly and simply why creation care is core to us living out the gospel, a key part of the proclamation and demonstration of this good news. Mander reminds us: "In the words of John Stott, "The gospel itself includes God's creation as well as his work of redemption."
Micah Global publishes M.Series booklets as short, theological pieces that address real issues that our members face around the world.
