"Barbarossa".Bei der Einbettung fiktiver Teile im Roman sind Fakten, Daten, Personen und Örtlichkeiten in den überwiegenden Fällen belegt oder Stand der Historienforschung. Aber wer garantiert bei einem Mangel an Überlieferung von Informationen aus dem frühen Mittelalter, ob Fiktion nicht auch die Wahrheit sein könnte. Fiktion und Wahrheit sind auch austauschbar, wenn die Realität aus frühen Zeiten nicht mehr zu ergründen ist. Eine Tatsache, die die Fantasie eines Autors anregt und ihr keine Grenzen setzt.
