Description
Matt James is a headstrong DSS antiterrorist agent who thrives on danger. Requesting every perilous assignment, he’s dispatched to the West Bank to protect the Secretary of State during sensitive peace negotiations.
But when a complex attack occurs, James’ unit saves the secretary while tragically losing his friend. Violating Palestinian sovereignty, a daring raid ensues in which his team uncovers a plot to kill millions of Americans. Defying his director’s orders, James tenaciously hunts the Chechen mastermind, partnering with FSB agent Svetlana Andropov.
With the fate of humanity at stake, James and Andropov battle interagency wrangling, foreign governments, betrayal, and internal strife in this high-octane, serpentine chase out of this world. Racing against the clock, the two must stop the Chechen before he reaches outer space, detonates a nuke, and creates a “radioflash” that will knock the superpower back into the Dark Ages while sparking WWIII between Russia and America.
