This handbook is a guide to the implementation of the PTI/APWA Equipment Management Information System. Intended to structure the efforts of an interdepartmental project team, the handbook provides information on project administration, and on the detailed tasks of implementation. Throughout the handbook, the emphasis is on accommodation of the differing needs of individual jurisdictions. It is unlikely that the implemented equipment management system will be exactly the same in any two jurisdictions.
