Now that Mark and Heather had admitted their love for each other, his parents were eager to meet her and invited her and her mother to come to London for Christmas. Beverly stayed mostly with Jodi, while Heather stayed at Mark's.
While they were there, they went into town to finish shopping, visit the Christmas trees in Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, and do some sightseeing. They attended a Christmas Eve party at Larry's and Jodi's where Mark introduced her to his brother Tom and sister Janice and her husband.
On Christmas morning, Beverly and Heather went with Mark and his parents to the Christmas service before opening gifts. Heather became very emotional when she opened the special surprise Mark had been teasing her about for weeks.
During Christmas break, they talked about the sexual tension that was building between them, and Heather told him she would see her doctor when she got back home. They planned to go to the French Riviera over the Easter holidays.
Two venues cancel concerts in March because of emergencies, and since Mark has no tours until the end of September, he stays in New York at Heather's house. When they return from the French Riviera and London, Mark rents a penthouse at a nearby hotel, where he plans to stay until Heather moves to London in June.
