Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Heilpädagogik, Sonderpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal; Standort Magdeburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Vor dem Hintergrund der heilpädagogischen Paradigmendiskussion werden in dieser Arbeit Fragen nach theoretischen und praxisrelevanten Erträgen des Empowerment-Konzepts für die WfbM untersucht.Das Empowerment-Konzept wird im Kontext einer kritischer Bildungstheorie erörtert, die den emanzipativen Gehalt von Bildung hervorhebt und eine gesellschaftskritische sowie sozialpolitische Perspektive einnimmt. In diesem Zusammenhang wird die Frage nach dem Potential von Bildungsangeboten für die Initiierung von Empowerment-Prozessen im Umfeld der WfbM diskutiert: Die WfbM hat die Aufgabe, Menschen mit Behinderungen „angemessene berufliche Bildung" (§ 136 Abs. 1 SGB IX; vgl. auch § 4 WVO) anzubieten und ihnen zu ermöglichen, „ihre Persönlichkeit weiter zu entwickeln" (§ 136 Abs. 1 SGB IX; vgl. auch § 5 WVO), es wird daher untersucht, in welcher Form entsprechende Bildungsangebote in der WfbM ‚Kristallisationskeime' für Empowerment-Prozesse sein können.Diese Arbeit versteht sich als ein praxisbezogener Beitrag zur heilpädagogischen Paradigmendiskussion im Umfeld der WfbM: Indem das grundlegende Bildungsverständnis der WfbM, das berufsqualifikations- und arbeitsmarktbezogene Aspekte betont und auf die Ausbildung funktionaler beruflicher Qualifikationen zielt (vgl. BA/BAG:WfbM 2002, 10ff), in Anschluss an die Bildungstheorie der kritisch-konstruktiven Erziehungswissenschaft um den emanzipativen Gehalt von Bildung erweitert wird, eröffnen sich in Hinblick auf die Paradigmendiskussion Ansätze zur Weiterentwicklung der WfbM.
