L'uomo della strada proiettato in un'avventura più grande di lui, a tratti inspiegabile, se non con l'entusiasmo del giovane patriota. Poi l'entusiasmo gradualmente si trasforma in dura consapevolezza di essere un misero ingranaggio di un meccanismo mal funzionante e mal compreso dai suoi stessi costruttori."
