Plays In Pinafores

""Plays in Pinafores"" is a collection of plays written by Mabel M. Swan, published in 1916. The book contains a variety of plays suitable for children of all ages, ranging from short one-act plays to longer productions. The plays cover a wide range of themes and genres, including fairy tales, historical events, and contemporary issues. Some of the plays are designed to be performed by children, while others are intended for adults to perform for children. The book is titled ""Plays in Pinafores"" because it was written during a time when young girls commonly wore pinafores, a type of apron-like garment. The collection offers a glimpse into the world of children's theater during the early 20th century and provides a valuable resource for those interested in children's theater history. Also Authored By Ruth Selman, Mrs. Charles F.
