IL teologo risponde: "(Non) si può sostenere che Dio non abbia perdonato il peccato originale, piuttosto non ne ha impedito le conseguenze". La tesi sostenuta dall'autore di questo libro è: Dio è inattingibile dalle offese delle sue creature; se si rifiuta l'attributo divino della inattingibilità, non si può rifiutare che Dio, per la Sua essenza coincidente con l'amore, perdoni peccato e le sue "conseguenze".
