Paul Bunyan and his Crew Separate the Continents is a fanciful look at the history of continental drift as told by retired geologist Paul Zimmer. An outgrowth of tales he used to spin to teach his young children about geological phenomena, Zimmer continues his bent for marrying imaginative fiction with scientific fact, crafting a tall tale of how the mythical big man played a part in moving the congestion of continents just as he would clear a river log jam. This is Zimmer's second book, following The Glacial Feud between Pierre Glacie' and Paul Bunyan, published in 2006.
