Sendo uma religião de matriz africana, o Candomblé Congo Angola sofre uma intolerância religiosa nas políticas públicas e legislativas brasileiras nacionais no cotidiano e mesmo durante eventos internacionais que se acontecem no Brasil. Essa não consideração desta religião afro-brasileira e essa vontade de apagar esta mesma religião chamada do candomblé Congo Angola no quadro religioso e político brasileiro, fazem com que vários fiéis das várias religiões cristãs usam de seu poder tradicional de religiões ditas 'reveladas' para atacar, destruir terreiros de candomblé Congo Angola, incluído seus praticantes (pais e mães de santo, filhos e filhas de santo). Assim, essa intolerância se expande cada vez, pegando as proporções maiores. Apesar da tomada das várias medidas pelo Estado Federal no passado para harmonizar a relação entre todas as religiões, é ainda possível dizer e demostrar que essa intolerância religiosa e política é ainda presente, do fato desconsiderando todos os avanços em termo da tolerância, feitos no passado. Neste livro, vamos falar também das práticas culturais singulares do Candomblé Congo Angola, que são alvos dessa dupla intolerância.
