Im Textband hatten die Herausgeber den sog. St. Galler Traktat (Ntr), die Dialectica (Ndia) und die Distributio (Ndis) dem Notkerschen Kanon hinzugefügt. Sie glauben, daß sie mit dieser Zusammenstellung Notker noch mehr und in größerem Detail als den Verfasser dieser drei Texte gesichert haben, nachdem vor kurzem in einem Aufsatz: Die lateinischen Schriften Notkers des Deutschen. Altes und Neues (PBB 124, 2002, S. 411-441) deren Echtheit generell nachgewiesen werden konnte. Auch De arte rhetorica (Nr), De partibus logicae (Nl), De syllogismis (Ns), De definitione (Ndef), Computus (Ncom), De musica (Nm) und Notkers lateinischer Brief an Bischof Hugo von Sitten (Nep) kommen in diesem Kommentarband an die Reihe.
