In addition to her love for writing, she is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice. Her grandparents were homesteaders in the early twentieth century. Jean's fascination with the Wild West, homesteaders, their lives, their struggles and victories won emanates from the many stories she heard as a youngster and her life experiences growing up in Montana.
