Masomo haya ya Biblia kwa njia ya Posta, ambayo hapa yamechapishwa kuwa kitabu, yalianza yakiwa ni Kozi ya Masomo 40 ya Msingi ya Biblia, ya Jumuia ya Wakristadelfia duniani. Yakiwa yameandikwa mwanzoni kwa lugha ya Kingereza, yaliandaliwa ili yatoe ufahamu wa kutosha wa Maandiko kwa mtu, kabla hajataka kubatizwa. Baada ya kutumiwa kwa karibu miaka 25 katika Tanzania, imeonekana hayakutosha hasa katika kumwandaa muumini kwa ajili ya maisha mapya katika Kristo, katika upweke uliopo Afrika Mashariki, kwa hiyo masomo mengine 20 yaliongezwa kuwa 60. Jitihada ilifanyika ya kuyatafsiri masomo hayo 40 ya awali katika Kiswahili, lakini kutokana na tofauti za kiutamaduni kwa waliotafsiri, mafanikio hayakuwa makubwa. Tunafikiri, kutokana na uhariri na nyongeza iliyowekwa, chapisho hili litakuwa la manufaa zaidi.

Jitihada ilifanyika ya kuyatafsiri masomo hayo 40 ya awali katika Kiswahili, lakini kutokana na tofauti za kiutamaduni kwa waliotafsiri, mafanikio hayakuwa makubwa. Tunafikiri, kutokana na uhariri na nyongeza iliyowekwa, chapisho hili litakuwa la manufaa zaidi.
