So easy they judge. You can't choose the family you're born into. They don't know your history, they don't know what you have been through. You make your choices based off your past, based off who you think are and who you want to become. Whether it be Revenge, Repentance, Forgiveness or all of the above you must choose and choose wisely. You only have one life to live.

Lila:

On more than one occasion she fantasized about what lay beneath all those layers of clothes he wore at work. Lila now had a better idea. Her imagination usually ran wild while having a conversation with him. Which in turn, led to blushing and an attempt at a quick getaway while grabbing her groceries.

Lila had contemplated in the past trying a different store nearby that didn't have a poster model working at the checkout line. There was a new grocery store in the opposite direction of PrideMart, only a few blocks away from her house. The idea of bringing her business to the new store had lingered for a while, but that was before the more recent events of the last few weeks. She had been getting tired of feeling like a kid in a candy shop at her current shopping center.

I want that one! she would think. Mr. tall and sexy please.

The problem now was Shane had gotten access to her deepest, darkest secrets. Access to a notebook that her eyes alone were supposed to see. Now here she was, part of her own screen play, following a trail of clothes he had left behind. A trail that led to her bedroom.

This was actually happening. Did he memorize this particular scene? There was no doubt in her mind that if he did, she would find him there naked in her bed. Both ankles and a wrist would be tied to the bedposts. The free wrist would be ready and waiting for her assistance in its binding.

Shane:

He heard a noise in the bathroom. What was that? He wondered. She must be getting close.

Crap.

He finished tying the last knot and pulled it tight. His ankles had been easy, it was tying up his left hand that had been tricky. It would have taken him a lot longer to do it but the fact that he practiced it in his apartment made all the difference. It was a matter of using his teeth and right hand to get the job done.

He was rather impressed with himself. His father had taught him how to tie a knot well for varying situations. This, he figured, was not your normal situation, at least not for him. Never once had he been tied to a bed naked, let alone having done it himself. He had been fully clothed at his apartment when he practiced.

The whole situation made him nervous as hell, which was a rare feeling for him. He knew how to keep calm and collected in almost any situation, especially when a woman was involved.

Lila, on the other hand, threw his game off. He was used to women fawning all over him, instead of trying to avoid him, like she did.

The ropes were tight, secure. There was no way out of this. No going back to the beginning. No changing the fate that lie ahead of him.

He suddenly felt as nervous as a bug probably felt, trapped in the twine of a spiderweb, laid out waiting for its hunter to find it.
