Mary Ann is a divorcee and mother of four. She and her daughter, Glory May, return to her family mountain farm full of memories of horses running the fields, from the past and present planning to rebuild the farm but finding it will need a lot of help! The sexy men in Mary's life give the story rousing romance and very intense "turn the page" drama. Mary Ann must learn how to deal with the three boys she lost through tragic events and a teenage daughter of fifteen who thinks she's twenty-five. Then her high school sweetheart ex-cop Erik who doesn't know how to express his compelling desire for this woman. Oh, we must not overlook the ex-husband Jack. His past triggers a roller coaster of events where Mary Ann's past comes back to haunt them all. Who will be left at the end?

The activities placed them right at the base of the mountain. The clouds were setting in again for another rain. "Let's hope the rain will hold off just a little longer. Come, "My Lady," he whispered as he parked the truck, and they got out. After several hours, the wind and rain has started. Erik had his jacket just for Mary if needed. He wrapped it around her shoulders. For a moment she thought he was going to kiss her. Her heart already fluttering greedily in her throat, she suddenly didn't trust her own common sense. So, she put on a painful expression and informed him, "It's so damn cold there's no feeling left in my feet and hands." She was right, the rain had added a colder chill in the air not to mention the wind.  

In a teasing secretive way he leaned over and asked "How 'bout the nipples? They cold too?"

When they got to Mary's house, Erik didn't turn off the engine to the truck. Instead he parked, got out, and came around to open her door. She was already out before he could get there. She told him she needed to get Glory's bedroom in order so she was not going to invite him in. Erik looked into her eyes and said, "I wasn't coming in. I'm going to pick up the kids and we will be back, if that's okay."

Another scene: Mary went to the living room, turned on the TV and sat down in the rocker. Not really looking at the TV she was daydreaming. Something came on the news that caught her eye. It was about a man turning state's evidence in a high profile drug case. She stared at the picture. It made her turn green, cold, weak in the knees and sick to her stomach - it was her ex-husband Jack!  

Another scene: Kenny, the sexy cowboy cannot get enough of Mary. The hot sexy scenes and arousing plot will compel you to keep turning the pages.
