Lessons Learned... Through No Words At All

Imagine what might happen when a family embarks on the fun, wild ride that accompanies the developmental differences of a very special child. This is exactly the kind of journey my family has been on since the birth of my twin daughters, one of whom has been diagnosed with severe autism.

As you can no doubt guess, Abigayle's diagnosis and all that accompanies it have been extremely impactful on the family. Some days are filled with struggle and a sense of being quite overwhelmed - even for the strongest among us -but these difficult moments are overshadowed by the joys and benefits of knowing our Abigayle. What an honor it has been to have her in our lives!

Even without words, Abigayle has taught numerous lessons in an unfamiliar territory. She has a way about her that touches hearts in countless ways everywhere she goes. In this book, I share a few of the priceless life lessons I have learned through my journey as her mother - lessons that can positively impact your life, too, whether you love someone with developmental differences or not.
