Description  
Una joven noruega aparece misteriosamente ahogada en el embalse del Amadorio de Villajoyosa de Alicante, la Guardia Civil, cierra la investigación como un supuesto suicidio por ahogamiento. Meses después el padre de la víctima residente en Benidorm encarga una investigación privada al bufete de abogados Ridruejo & Brother de Alicante. El bufete tenía contratado como investigador autónomo a un ex picoleto (Guardia Civil por el tricornio de tres picos), que había sido expulsado del Cuerpo, tras cumplir condena en un penal militar por agresión a un superior, y padecer el "Síndrome del Norte", por ello, se había vuelto medio alcohólico y porrero, separado de su mujer y no muy agraciado físicamente y estaba en tratamiento psiquiátrico. Lo que podíamos llamar un antihéroe, conocido en el mundo de hampa alicantino como Harry, el expicoleto, pero su olfato policial era digno del mejor de los detectives privados profesionales. La trama transcurre en Alicante, La Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Orcheta y Londres.
