Magisterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Politik - Region: Afrika, Note: 1,7, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover (Politische Wissenschaften), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Anhand der Demokratischen Republik Kongo werden die Theorien von William Reno und Robert I. Rotberg et al auf ihre Anwendbarkeit und den Grad des Zutreffens im heutigen Afrika analysiert.Die Arbeit stellt zunächst die polito-ökonomische Lage in der DRC dar. Hierauf folgt die Analyse der theoretischen Erwartungen von Reno/Rotberg sowie ein komparativer Ansatz zur Überprüfung auf die zuvor ermittelten Umstände in der DRC hin. Abschließend folgt ein theoretischer Teil, an welchen Ansätzen die Theorie verbessert werden könnte, dies ist jedoch Gegenstand einer hier nicht veröffentlichten Dissertation.
