Dieser Band Kölner Papyri setzt die Gesamtpublikation der in Köln aufbewahrten griechischen Papyri und Ostraka fort, die 1976 mit dem von Bärbel Kramer und Robert Hübner bearbeiteten ersten Band er öffnet worden ist. Wie der erste Band, so enthält auch der zweite sowohl literarische Texte als auch Urkunden, und zwar insgesamt 67 Nummern. Die Bearbeitung der 23 literarischen Stücke stammt wiederum von Bär bel Kramer, desgleichen die Sammlung und Neuherausgabe der schon früher publizierten Urkunden (Nr. 81, 82, 94, 96, 100, 101, 102, 104, 106, 108, 112, 113, 114); die Edition der bislang unpublizierten Urkunden stammt von Dieter Hagedorn. Die photographischenAufnahmen für den Tafelanhang hat wiederum Shahrouz Yazdanyar angefertigt.
