I wrote this book in the year 2013 for my daughters Moji and Ore. I was experiencing unending ritualistic extrajudicial persecution and I was worried about my personal safety while living in a country known to all as the United Kingdom, and it was the only way I could conceive of and trust to deliver the most important story my daughters (who are currently ages 5 and 2) could ever have heard from their father. I wrote this book for my babies so that they will be spared from the unnecessary shock of disillusionment that Black children in the western world must experience when they become adults and realise that they are living behind enemy lines.
