Johnny is an impetuous young man who has died and been recruited by a Heavenly Order as an Earth Angel on the upcoming apocalypse.
When he suffers an ostensibly fatal accident, causing him amnesia, he will have to find out who he really is again, and with the help of a beautiful chosen one he will do so; at the same time, he will find out his real purpose in life. He will have to battle unknown forces and rescue New York from its impending doom.
Thus, accompanied by his growing Celestial powers and the help of the FBI, Johnny discovers a world outside his own (outside his lonely life) and a higher calling; indeed, a higher calling he's been trying to deny for years, such runs deep in his blood. It's a world that forces all his relationships to shatter. Johnny can't trust anyone with his secret, and for so long he felt burdened by it, until someone comes along and teaches him love and trust and to accept himself. He's forced to figure out how to reclaim his place instead of just taking up space.
