Jesus Is a Never Ending Story

When I looked back over my life, I began to reminisce how the hand of God was on me; from the time I was conceived and formed in my mother's womb. He preserved me for such a time as now, to testify of His Greatness, how He can turn a sinful person's life around. I was born and raised in New Orleans, La., we changed residences frequently, and at every location, my Dad always found us a church home. I heard messages about God, Moses and Jonah in the whale's belly. I remember hearing about Pharaoh's army drowned in the red sea; Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus that was born in a manger, how Jesus died on the cross, and messages about Heaven and Hell. Although I heard those messages, I had no real knowledge of the Creator of the universe: our Heavenly Father Jehovah. Mom and Dad did their best to keep God in our lives with the knowledge they possessed. In one area that we lived, at a very young age, I held the position of the Church secretary until we moved to a different neighborhood. Once I graduated out of high school, I had gotten married at a very young age; which it did not work out, and therefore we separated. Afterwards, I did not always do the right things, and ended up living with a man that I was not married to for years, and a child was born. As I grew older and lived on my own, I was spiritually blind and ignorant of the knowledge of the "One True and Living God". It was evident; I did not know Jesus Christ, I was a sinner, one who commits transgressions (sins) against the commandments of our Heavenly Father. Quite often, I felt something was missing in my life, but I had no idea, what the missing link was; or how to conquer the defeats that kept me in a sinful state. Therefore, when it came down to my soul salvation, I worried about dying in my sins and going to hell. Lord knows, I did not want that to happen to me or my children. I wanted to do right and go to that place that is called "Heaven", where God lives; and I did not know how to escape from my sinful way of life. While in that condition, I sincerely sort for spiritual help. Well, somewhere in this course of my life, I finally filed and went through my divorce, because I learned I was living in adultery.During my struggles, in the month of December, in the year of 1980, at the age of 27, God Almighty looked down on me right where I was a sinner, forgave me of my sins, and extended His love through His Son Jesus Christ. God rescued me out of a sinful lifestyle, and then placed me into my rightful position in His Kingdom. Now, I can give Him all the Glory and Praise for what He has done in my life. I'm forever grateful to Him. Amen!
