The basic setting is the suburbs of New York City and New Jersey, but also recreates precise and enduring historical events. Readers will be introduced into a tale of greed, intrigue, a strange inventor, Rupert, Mafia hit men, and the devoted lovers, Mark and Bobbie. The young couple will tote camcorders during three excursions into the past, where they are unable to interact with any living thing including humans, animals or plant life. The plot accelerates as underhanded scheming, terror, and vicious murders occur after their films of historical events are sold to CBS Television. Unknown to the CEO, Robert Anders, at CBS, his trusted Vice President, George Colbert, is deeply in debt. With the possibility of billions of dollars up for grabs, Colbert decides to steal the secrets of the time travelers' realistic film productions by using the help of his uncle Rocco, who has mob connections.
