Insomma di cosa parla questo romanzo? Il romanzo narra le vicende di un adolescente degli anni Settanta, raccontate ad un adolescente dei giorni nostri. Detto così potreste dire che non è il genere di romanzo che fa per voi. Ma se vi dicessi che poi spunta fuori un fantasma vero e che si crea un connubio tra il giovane e il vecchio la pensereste diversamente?Vi ho incuriosito, vero? In effetti questo romanzo è tutto ciò che ho descritto. La voce narrante è l'adolescente dei giorni nostri, ma anche l'adolescente degli anni Settanta è una voce narrante, senza dubbio più importante rispetto al giovane. Le esperienze del vecchio trovano applicazione nella vita reale del giovane. Attraverso il racconto del vecchio, il giovane impara ad essere uomo, ad affrontare le proprie responsabilità, le gioie, e i dolori che la vita gli riserverà. Il finale vi riserverà una sorpresa.
