Biography of: Godwin Emmanuel James BrowneBorn: August 4th, 1954 in Nevis, West IndiesMarried since April 18th, 1980 (36 years) to Louise BrowneFour children: 3 sons, 1 daughter (eldest son died at age 7). Daughter aged 32, and sons aged 30 and 20.In September of 1973 I traveled to our sister island, St. Kitts to fulfill a contract to construct a family home.  In October of that same year, I was invited to a week of crusade meetings.  Being new to St. Kitts, I wanted to meet some Kittitian ladies so I decided to go.I went and I really did meet a lady.  She told me about Jesus, and as she shared Jesus with me, the rich presence of God was there.  I tried to tell her wait until tomorrow, but she kept on talking.  I tried to move away from her, but I could not move.  It seemed like the Holy Spirit had me stuck to the spot.  That night I gave my life to Jesus.My life was never the same from that night.  I started attending church, and faithfully following the Lord.  I was passionate about God and started growing in the things of the Lord.  Early on I realized that I had a call to ministry.  I attended Bible training for over a year.  I served in the church as a Sunday school teacher, elder, lay preacher, and youth leader eventually becoming the Sunday school superintendent.I attended World Impact Bible Institute for two years and graduated with a Diploma in Christian Ministry.  I am presently preparing myself to spend the rest of my life in ministry as a full time evangelist and author.
