Description
Your child's first bilingual book!
Our high-contrast book in English and Spanish is specially designed to engage and stimulate your child's developing senses, promoting early brain development and aiding their ability to recognise shapes and words. Plus, they'll learn simple phrases and have fun playing peek-a-boo!
Reading with your child at bedtime is a cherished ritual for parents and their little ones. That's why we made sure that the large text print in our book is easy to read in gentle light. This makes it suitable for a soothing and comfortable bedtime book. You and your child will start a ritual of quality time together, creating memories that last a lifetime.
According to studies, an early introduction to books and storytelling can improve children's language skills, foster their imagination, and build their emotional intelligence. By reading together, you'll strengthen the bond between you and your child and provide an opportunity for communication and interaction.
Bilingualism is another benefit of our book. It has been shown to improve cognitive skills such as executive function, problem-solving, and overall cognitive flexibility. With our bilingual book, your child will have a head start in language development, setting them up for a lifetime of success.
We also know that black and white high-contrast images are particularly beneficial for babies and young infants in promoting eyesight development and forming early recognition skills. Our book is specially designed to capture and hold the attention of young infants, stimulating and strengthening the neural connections in their visual cortex, helping them form visual recognition skills that will enhance later visual abilities such as reading and object recognition.
Our book is the perfect way to introduce your child to the world of reading while promoting cognitive, linguistic, and social-emotional development. Get your copy today and start your child's reading journey!
Shipping & Processing

Processing times
- In stock: Items marked “In Stock” are on our shelves. We pick, pack and ship them within 1–2 business days.
- In stock with our supplier: Items not marked “In Stock” are held by one of our Australian or overseas suppliers. We order them in for you and they usually dispatch within 2–5 business days (3–5 for some suppliers). The estimate next to the price is for this item.
- Special orders: Some supplier items, such as specialist and imported items, titles awaiting reprint and print-on-demand titles, take longer to arrive. If your order includes one, we’ll update you as soon as we hear from our supplier.
- Supplier delays: Occasionally a supplier is delayed, or their stock information turns out to be inaccurate. We’ll keep your order open for up to 60 days. If an item hasn’t shipped or isn’t on its way to us by then, we’ll cancel that item and refund it.
How accurate is availability?
Availability is based on the stock levels our suppliers tell us they hold, and we update it regularly. If a supplier issue affects your order, we’ll let you know with an updated estimate.
