Natural fibers have the advantage of being biodegradable and can be used for thermal energy at end of their life cycle, thus not adding to the landfill crisis. This book brings clarity on this subject and the sections in this book are carefully planned in order to clear ambiguity regarding natural fibers and its application. There are 16 fibers which are discussed in detail in this book, namely: Cotton, Kapok, Sisal, Pineapple Leaf Fiber, Jute, Banana, Hemp, Kenaf, Coconut/Coir, Rye, Oat, Maize, Rice, Bamboo, Hair & Wool. Each chapter goes in detail about the Types, Properties, Extraction and Applications of these Fibers.
