God's Blueprint for Salvation

The greatest love story ever told began in the Garden of Eden. A holy God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) created Adam and Eve in His own image, yet Adam and Eve disobeyed and sinned against Him. Sin destroyed their relationship with God; therefore, they could no longer live in God's presence. Today, sin continues to cause a divide between God and the people He created, stopping us from living a fulfilled life that has meaning and purpose. Thankfully, God has an answer and I pray you find encouragement, hope and God's blueprint for salvation in the pages of this book. The wages of sin is death and sin must be paid for. Either God must pay, or we must pay; no third person can pay for our sin. In His blueprint, God pays the penalty for our sin through Jesus Christ and returns holiness to our spirit, mind and body so we can again live and enjoy God's presence. This great love story begins in Genesis and concludes in the book of the Revelation as man re-enters God's presence. Fred Parker Baker graduated from Mount Olive University, Mount Olive, NC and Columbia International University, Columbia, SC. In 1978, he and his family relocated to the island of Palawan in the Republic of the Philippines as missionaries. Serving as the Philippine Field Director, he co-founded Palawan Bible College for training pastors and church planters. In 1991, Fred and his family returned to the U.S. where he pastored Roberts Grove Original Free Will Baptist (OFWB) Church at Spivey's Corner, NC for 22 years. He also served the OFWB denomination in many roles, including two terms as president of the OFWB Convention. Retiring in 2013, Rev. Baker continues to serve his God as an interim pastor to churches in need. He enjoys reading, researching, writing, teaching, playing with his eight grandchildren and being Linda's handyman.
