Gift of Gods

Ayla gave her heart to the Ruhl, but it may not be enough to save the clans.

The veil is falling, and magic is returning to the clans. But, after centuries of living without magic, no one alive remembers how to wield that power. Except their enemies.

Ayla and Ezri need all the clan leaders to cooperate if they hope to train the potential mages in time to fight back. But the clan leaders are too caught up in politics, and the tug-of-war between the clan leaders and the mages is threatening more than just the safety of the clans. Ayla and Ezri's fragile bond hangs in the balance.

The pair are forced to separate, and Ayla is thrown together with her first love, Rys. As clan politics continue to thwart their happiness and threaten the safety of the people they care about most, they will have to decide what is more important. Following their hearts? Or fulfilling their destinies?
