This is the remarkable life-story of Dr. Art Deyo, whose life was radically altered when, after much prayer, God showed him and his wife, Lois, that he should leave Nuclear Engineering and follow his call into the Youth For Christ ministry. This unprecedented shift from working with "fission reactors" to working with "teenage reactors" enabled him to take part in reaching thousands of young people all over the world for Christ.

•    Explore the joys and challenges of growing up in a pastor's family with four siblings.

•    Experience the beautiful romance with Lois, as well as the everyday hardships they walked through together over 58 years.

•    Hear about how he overcame difficulties in pioneering many local Youth For Christ chapters in the Midwest, including Central Ohio Youth For Christ in Columbus, one of the largest and most effective in the country today.

•    Glean from his effective strategies in recruiting and training hundreds of volunteers as well as 200+ young adults to go overseas in missions during his 56 years in Youth For Christ.

•    Hear of the many exciting journeys he took overseas, with Lois and others, to 80+ countries in order to strengthen and assist many of Youth For Christ International's 120 National Ministries.

•    Thank God he was able to lay the groundwork for YFC in Central Asia where ministries in eight countries now thrive.

With over 500 photographs to help bring the story to life, Art is truly God's man for such a time as this. He opens his life to us through his journaling and prayer times, including the highs and lows of his spiritual life while battling health challenges, being a husband and a father, all the while maintaining a solid and godly ministry within the ever-changing landscape of youth ministry.

Art has been an active leader in Marked Men For Christ for 15 years. He and Lois live in Colorado, are long-time leaders at their home church, Fellowship Community Church, and have two married children, Deanna and Jeffrey, who have been in ministry with their spouses all their lives (120+ years combined between the three families). They have six wonderful grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren.
