A jockey has gone missing with a Sweepstakes race in the offing, and it seems that half of Nashville's upper crust has something to hide. From his "office" in Hannigan's bar, Jackson Trade is facing a lonely month of recuperation from a nasty fall. So, when an acquaintance asks him to help a millionaire locate a missing jockey, he accepts, against his better judgement. After all, five hundred a day, plus expenses, goes a long way in 1980, even on Nashville's elegant west end.
