Flying Monkeys And Brown Bees
Description
"Flying Monkeys and Brown Bees" is a delightful collection of whimsical poems by Claire Martinez Falconer that will capture the hearts of both young and old. Drawing from her own life and the vivid imagination of her youth, Claire's poetry takes readers on a playful journey filled with charm, humor, and a dash of nostalgia. One of her earliest pieces, The Dung Heap, written when she was just 12, exemplifies her unique ability to find joy and laughter in everyday moments.
Through a series of short, captivating poems like I'd Rather Be a Monkey and Still Awake, Claire invites readers to explore the world through a child's eyes, with themes of adventure, family, and the simple pleasures of life. From mischievous monkeys to quiet reflections on dreams and time, each poem is filled with whimsy, encouraging readers to cherish the spirit of staying young at heart.
Perfect for family reading, Flying Monkeys and Brown Bees is a book that will be enjoyed for years to come, making it a wonderful addition to any child's library-and a source of laughter and wonder for adults, too.
