Description
Favored is a work that impacts our imagination and brings the past into our present with vividness and impact. - Tracy Manning, Artistic Director and Professor of Theatre at Taylor University
As Joachim announces he has betrothed Mary, his only daughter, to Joseph, she and her mother can only sit and listen in stunned silence. Meanwhile, Joseph is summoned by Theo, a Roman centurion, to fix Dalena's dressing table. The beautiful woman is the wife of Quirinius, the governor of Syria. The encounter sets in motion a tangled web of deceit that causes their paths to cross in many intricate ways.
When Anna discovers the secret Mary has been hiding, will the revelation tear the family apart? Will faith win over doubt? Will those in Mary's life believe the impossible?
This exciting story, with its twits and turns, seek to answer the question: What makes a person favored?
