You will laugh aloud at the antics of the police psychiatrist, Dr. Martin "Mental" Nunn, and be aghast at the black humour of "Deadpan" Dick McIvor, the pathologist. There is also the driven DS Monica Richards, the disastrous constables Smith and Davidson, and the shy Ulsterman Dermot Long. This is an amusing romp at the bottom of which is a tragic murder.
