We can choose to respond to any situation with love and understanding without compromising our faith. Unity and truth are not mutually exclusive. Followers of Jesus Christ can no longer be consumed by secular events and processes. We must focus our eyes on eternity.

It's time for the church to take its rightful place in the work of redemption and reconciliation. The first step is to commit to moving our faith beyond lip service. This will require us to do the hard work of putting down our stones, picking up our crosses, and following Christ.
