Fairy Tales and Poison

Hope Morrison gets a rude awakening to how poisoned her life has become when a violent battle unleashes itself between her and her boyfriend, the father of her baby girl, when he comes home late from a night out on the town. Hope has great difficulty accepting the path Victor is taking in life, as she reminisces throughout the story to wonderful cherished memories of an empowering and beautiful love that once existed between her and the villain who now wears Victor's body. Hope is a dreamer, who spent her childhood fantasising about her wedding day, and envisioning a picture perfect family life. Victor was the young man who swept her off her feet in fairy-tale fashion, building her self-confidence and making her life feel complete. Unfortunately, her present reality is so far from her dreams, and Hope is living in a silent world of pain, watching the love of her life be destroyed by the poisons of alcohol. In turn, he is also destroying her life and the future of their baby girl. Hope's fragile heart is unsure how much more destruction it can handle. Is Hope destined to be a single mother, whose daughter will fall victim to the agony and chaos of living with alcoholism in the family? Will history repeat itself yet again, with another generation of Victor's family surrendering to the almighty bottle? Or will Hope stand by long enough for Victor to figure out the true meaning of life and remember the happiness they once shared? Can fairy tales come true, or is that only for the movies?
