When Aaron Free's friend, Dexter Hill, bribes Jax Moll to smuggle him and Alex Finder into a shipping port in Los Angeles named Terminal Island, things get too out of hand. Dex is in search of a mysterious shark species recently found off the coast of LA. With a combination of both fearing for his friend's safety, and encouragement to sabotage his friend's heist by his admirer Olivia Marker, Aaron attempts to prevent them from executing their treacherous plan.However, other plans are in store for Aaron as he is forced into Dex's master-plan. Aaron and his sister Rebecca are drawn into something much deeper. Elomopens: The Mariners is a series taking place in a deep sea marine world. This is where Aaron and his sister Rebecca embark to the underwater metropolis of Potetlik. An underwater city with interesting fish-humans, magic, and mysterious magicians. Together with all his knowledge and skill, Aaron must discover what Ori wants from him and what Potetlik is all about.
