FRUTA. Manzanas, piñas, bayas (moras, fresas, arándanos, arándanos), naranjas, plátanos, pomelos, higos, mango, kiwi, coco, peras, dátiles, melocotones, albaricoques, nectarinas, sandía, cerezas, ciruelas, papaya, limón, caqui , granada, uva, maracuyá, mandarina y melón.
Recuerde que las frutas dulces y los postres paleo solo son aceptables ocasionalmente, como excepción. No se recomienda comer grandes cantidades de ellos al día.
GRASAS, NUECES Y SEMILLAS. Un aspecto importante de la dieta paleo es que no evitamos las llamadas "grasas saludables".
Aceite de oliva, aceite de coco, mantequillas de nueces, aceite de aguacate, manteca de cerdo y grasa animal, ghee. Pipas de girasol, almendras, pistachos, pipas de calabaza, nueces, nueces de Brasil, semillas de sésamo, nueces, avellanas, castañas, piñones, nueces de macadamia y anacardos.
