Am Tage nach meiner Ankunft war ich nach Besteigung des Fuchsturms und nach manchem andern Auf- und Absteigen spätnachmittags in das geräumige, aber leere Gastzimmer zurückgekehrt und hatte mich sommermüde vor einer Flasche Ingelheimer hinter dem kühlen Ofen in einen tiefen Lehnstuhl gesetzt; eine Uhr pickte, die Fliegen summten am Fensterglas, und mir wurde die Gnade, davon in den Schlaf gewiegt zu werden, und zwar recht tief.
