Jahrhunderts.Angefangen bei der Heranbildung des Allgemeinen Deutschen Handelsgesetzbuches (ADHGB) in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts werden anhand der Ausarbeitungen von Levin Goldschmidt dogmatische Voraussetzungen und rechtspolitische Anforderungen an das Handelsrecht dargestellt.Darüber hinaus soll ein Vergleich zu den Anforderungen an die Kodifikation des Handelsgesetzbuches (HGB) hergestellt werden. Abschließend soll die Frage nach einer möglichen Pionier-Rolle des Handelsrechts im 19. Jahrhundert auf der Ebene des Privatrechts beantwortet werden.
