Development of the E-Court System in the Dark Era of Pakistan

It has been developed in Pakistan more vastly post-covid 2019. The initiative took place as globally there was a pandemic going on which indulge people to follow the SOPS to deal with daily affairs which includes court litigation as well. This research study investigates the feasibility of incorporating e-courts into the Pakistani legal system as a step towards faster justice and peaceful growth. As it has been adopted globally and utilized across various jurisdictions a comparative analysis technique is utilized to examine the incorporation of e-courts into multiple other legal systems like India, Malaysia, Turkey, Canada, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.The consequences of e-courts in these systems will be investigated and compared to Pakistan's judicial systems. The analysis will help to address multiple questions a reasonable person can think of regarding the e-court system. Technology is playing a vital role in resolving online dispute resolution (ODR); however, it is not fully developed due to the flaws and gaps between the technology and the law which is expected that within a few years would be filled and both would be standing on the same page. We recommend that an e-court system compliant with the Pakistani legal system be developed wisely according to the nature and urgency of the case.
