biblischen Ausdruck handelt, der sich angeblich auf den Diener Allahs, den

Propheten Jesus, bezieht, wäre es besser, das arabische Wort beizubehalten,

denn das Wort „Herr", welches sich auf Meister, Führer, Besitzer oder Herrscher

begrenzt, kann niemals die umfassende Bedeutung des Ausdrucks „Rabb"

übermitteln. Im Arabischen bedeutet der Ausdruck „Rabb": der Schöpfer, der

Gestalter, der Ernährer, der Einzige, von Dem die Möglichkeit der Existenz aller

Geschöpfe abhängt, und der Einzige, der Leben gibt und den Tod veranlasst.

����������������(Diin) Das Wort, das allgemein als Religion übersetzt wird ist Diin, was

im Arabischen gewöhnlich auf eine Lebensart hinweist, die sowohl privat als

auch öffentlich ist. Es umfasst alle Handlungen des Gottesdienstes, politische

Vorgänge und detaillierte Angaben zur Lebensführung und den Umgang.
