Wissenschaftlicher Aufsatz aus dem Jahr 1995 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Gattungen, Note: keine, Kyoto Sangyo University (German Department), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Paradoxerweise ist die Kunst von Yvette Guilbert in Frankreich, wo sie entwickelt wurde, die Ausnahme geblieben, während sie gerade in Deutschland das "literarische" Chanson geprägt hat, wenn auch dort nie übertroffen wurde. Das letztere wurde durch den sächlichen Artikel und das Attribut aus dem französischen Lied (la chanson) ausgegrenzt, weil man es als "mit Musik vorgetragene Literatur" verstand. Die besten Dirnenlieder geben eine kleine Szene, die transparent wird für einen Lebensstil und die Gesellschaft, die ihn ermöglicht. (Liste von etwa 100 berücksichtigten Beispielen; zuerst als Vortrag im Theaterwissenschaftlichen Institut der Universität München am 20.7.1992 und vor dem Jap.
