Evidenzbasierte Pflege, die Zunahme von Fallzahlen und -schwere sowie ein verinnerlichtes Verständnis des DRG-Abrechnungssystems in einem interdisziplinären Behandlungsteam bestimmen einerseits den Pflegealltag im Sinne eines umfassenden Fallmanagements.Das heutige Bild des mündigen Patienten erfordert andererseits im Pflegeprozess eine reflektierte Interaktion, die ihn durch Anleitung und Beratung aktiv beteiligt. Beides erfordert eine gute Planungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit. Die Arbeit erörtert, in wie weit pflegedidaktische Konzepte der Pflegeausbildung mit sozialpflegerischem Schwerpunkt die beruflichen Anforderungen an den Pflegeberuf methodisch und inhaltlich berücksichtigen.Dazu werden, der Theorie des kommunikativen Handelns nach Habermas folgend, curriculare Ausbildungsziele, domainspezifische Didaktikmodelle und betriebliche Qualifikationsanforderungen im Bereich der kommunikativen Kompetenz von Pflegeberufen im Kontext zum Patienten und im Kontext des Fallmanagements verglichen.
