Description  
Escrito en el año 2001, este cuarteto en cuatro movimientos toma algunos de los elementos rítmicos y armónicos propios del flamenco y la música popular española. Sus títulos expresan, de este modo, su carácter e influencia, aunque dentro de un lenguaje marcadamente actual. Una serie dodecafónica dispuesta libremente impregna el primer y tercer movimientos (Fandango y Bolero), mientras el segundo (Saeta), se basa en la sonoridad de un 'paso' de Semana Santa, reproducido por acordes en pizzicato acompañando el canto ante el desfile procesional. El último movimiento (Seguiriya), de tempo vivo, es una danza en 3/4 y 6/8, y se encarga de cerrar la obra de modo brillante. La obra fue estrenada el 27 de Octubre de 2010 en el marco del Festival de Música Contemporánea de Madrid por el Cuarteto Leonor, al cual está dedicada.I. FandangoII. SaetaIII. BoleroIV. Seguiriya
