They follow a trail that leads them in and out of the clutches of ruthless cartel killers and a capo who will stop at nothing to protect his investment.
As a result, Gilly and company are relentlessly pursued all the way up the eight-hundred--mile Baja Peninsula. Throughout the chase, the pressure to survive builds, the bonds of friendship are tested, and young love and romance flourish in the most unlikely of places. Will they all make it home?
