Confessions of a Woman (a novel) won the Literary Merit Award in the Naji Noman Literary Competition in Lebanon in 2007 AD. The novel is a woman's exploration of the hidden female within her, and the woman chosen by the writer within the text, "the ego," is revealed as a central character who moves, grows, interacts, confesses, denies, undresses, and sometimes revolts with different viewpoints, characteristics, and moods that are capable of moving the literary text from positive to negative and vice versa. The Moroccan writer and critic Bouchaib Al-Saouri: said Here we have a notable work of fiction that does an excellent job of weaving narrative approaches by utilizing a variety of narrative pronouns, from the first-person to the third-person, to investigate the inner workings of the self. The author's meticulous attention to detail in word choice, language construction, and subject-emotional diagnosis is especially noteworthy.
