The first time poor-boy Tairren saw Princess Marrisa's stunning red hair and gazed into her angelic blue eyes, he was stricken with a deep love for her no one would understand, not even himself. With the company of his very different comrades, the unconventional Lady Natalia, Marrisa's unbelieving fiancé Prince Phillip of Ishkar, and a peculiar guild of glowing beings called Legna, Tairren travels across the uncertain lands of Minslethrate.

Not only are the three young adventurers who are connected to Marrisa involved in the world's fate, but everyone bridged to them are as well. Destiny and fate reveal themselves in trials, tribulation, and quests as followers of darkness, called Nomed, rise against them all. They all are caught in the middle of an ancient warfare between the enigmatic worlds of darkness, light, and the legends that brought the origin of Minslethrate, and the world, into existence.
